I used to read a lot when I was younger, but work and other pressures caused my reading to dwindle so that I read only occasionally, such as on airplanes.  I was deployed to Iraq from 2004-05 and started reading again to provide an escape from the war and battle the boredom.  I've been back home for more than two years but have tried to keep reading, and I am so glad to have discovered PaperBackSwap.com to help feed my reading habit.

I average about one or two books each week.  I usually read thrillers, legal fiction, and smart chick lit, but my tastes are pretty eclectic.  I'm also a huge hockey fan and read/collect nonfiction hockey books. 

I am a non-smoker and have a cat-free household, but I do have a dog (he doesn't read, and my books don't smell like dogs).  I usually mail requested books by the next business day.
